Dio got me hooked on this term! In her comment in my earlier post, she asked me how our lovescapade was.. and I laughed ‘coz that was actually what Nico & I were having! We were like on an extended date.. going to so many amazing places and experiencing all these things together.. lovescapade talaga haha ☺

We celebrated our 4th and a half year anniversary last August 9.. ☺ We spent it doing one of the things we liked best.. EATING! We stuffed ourselves until we felt so sick we couldn’t stand up! We ate at this seafood buffet.. Haay.. ewan ko ba why we do this to ourselves! Masarap kasi siyang kasama kumain! Too bad we weren’t able to take a pic of that night.. We forgot to bring our cameras! But I think the extra pounds we gained that night would help us remember our dinner date ;p

So we went to that club again in Hollywood a couple of Fridays ago, and I’m just so happy may pic na kami from that night! This was from their website..


And then we had late late dinner at this Vietnamese noodle place… sarap ng noodles grabe! And we also met up with Ronald and his cousin! Galing! We spent the night bashing certain unmentionables from babble.. wahahaha.. *evil*


The following day, Nico and I went shopping in Ontario Mills! I wanted to see an artista.. like Lindsay Lohan or something.. But guess who I saw? Hahaha.. I couldn’t resist it, I HAD to HAVE my picture taken with her! But my my, hindi siya friendly ha! Maybe ‘coz she didn’t want to be disturbed while shopping? But nevertheless, here it is.. The weekend would not have been complete without a visit to a theme park, so off we went to California Adventures!! ☺


I love it there! The place wasn’t as crowded as Disneyland, so it was a bit more relaxed experience. But we still did a lot of stuff!!

We watched this amazing 4D animated show inspired by “A Bug’s Life”.. Check out our cool shades..


We also played games.. and I won for us these cute Dolphins!


We saw live shows like Aladdin (Which was suuuuper dupppper amazing!!! Haay.. my fave Disney cartoon done live! And the guy who played Aladdin was a hottie! ;p) and Bear in the Big Blue House! Cute cute ng characters!!


We rode all the rides they have, and we especially loved the Tower of Terror, and the Monsters Inc ride! This was especially close to us ‘coz this was the first movie we ever watched together… during my birthday in 2001 ☺
Of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without their version of their parade, which was the Electrical Parade! Galing.. the lights were soo beautiful! Sipping hot chocolate while watching this with nico was absolutely perfect.

Shopping Update:

We hung out at The Block in Orange after work one night.. saya! We just ate and walked around the shops and just basically enjoyed each other’s company.. ☺


We also went to Irvine Spectrum, OC, and spent the day shopping at this beautiful outdoor mall! Nico is the best shopping partner ever! Notice that all the tops I’m wearing were his pasalubongs for me.. hehe ☺

Food Update:

So we’ve been eating a lot of Filipino Food lately, from Jollibee, to DJs & Salu-Salo (Pinoy food sarap!) and also Chowking! Hehe… I can’t resist.. photo-op again!!


And we love eating at Claimjumper, Friday’s style food na mas masarap.. yung butter and biscuit nila… grabe ang sarap!!!


Movie Review:

Step Up!!! WATCH IT!!! Channing Tatum I heart you! I swear, if this doesn’t make you have that highschool crush on him, then there must be something wrong with you. Hahaha… one of my fave movies of all time agad! ☺

Click.. it’s funny at first, but man! I cried a lot during the end of the movie!

Snakes on a plane.. hmm.. it was actually better than I thought it would be! The snakes are freaky!!

Talladega Nights.. nakakabobo but I love Will Ferrel so its all good.. Shake & Bake!!

Material Girls.. Oh my gosh I owe nico ‘coz I made him watch it with me.. Pure torture for him! I love Hillary Duff but I wouldn’t buy this movie on Dvd… kulang na kulang! Although cute ng outfits nila! ☺

You, Me & Dupree.. Okay lang though.. ang hot ni Kate Hudson! ;p

Disneyland is definitely the happiest place on earth. I arrived here with the normal Nico.

We rode as much rides as we could, and we loved space Mountain so much we rode it twice! Ang lamig kasi inside! And I'm so happy the Pirates Of The Carribean ride is open again, 'coz when I went there with my family last April, it was still closed. Galing, life-like talaga pirates nila!

I liked the interactive Buzz Lightyear game.. But Nico beat my score by like a hundred thousand points??


I super adored the "It's A Small World" ride,


But I feel bad 'coz Philippines was all by her lonesome self!


Amidst all the rides & disney characters, there was also a time for confusion.. I couldn't tell who my boyfriend was from these two! Haha ;p


Of course, Disneyland wouldn't be complete without seeing the Parade Of Dreams. This is my favorite float of all! I wish I could be up there with them! I love Disney Princesses!!


Thank you Walt Disney for such a magical place. Out of all the times I've been here, this has been the most enjoyable experience of all.. 'coz I was with my Captain :)

Nico & I went clubbing with Rj at this Hollywood Club, Vanguard. Grabe, we were like in HK.. puro Chinita!! Ended the night very very hungry at Pipers.. as in lamon ;p

Movie Review:

Watch John Tucker! Cute cute! Don't watch Miami Vice. Boring as Hell. Watch Little Man. Funny & Gross Jokes. Laugh Trip. Haha.. Yun Lang ;p

Omg was probably the most overused word that came out of my mouth this last weekend.

Like when I was driving on my way to meet Nico after a month of not seeing him, I was like, Omg, I’m so excited! I've been waiting for this day to come noh!! :)

And when he showed me his pasalubongs for me from all the places he’s been, like the lacoste pique polos & logo tees from NY, Spy Girl shirt from the Spy Museum in DC, Cowboy Hats & Stufftoys from Texas, and other stuff from all over, I was like, “Omg babe, this is too much!” :)


And then after all the excitement, he had yet another gift for me. A tiny beribboned blue box. Omg.


It was so pretty!! :)


Then we had dinner at Jollibee. Omg, it’s like being close to home! Sarap ng palabok man! :)



Friday night, we watched My Super Ex-Girlfriend Friday & Pirates Of The Carribean. Astig ‘coz our tickets were free ‘coz of Nico’s uncle, so omg tipid haha! Ang mahal naman kasi ng movies dito noh! So anyway, My Super Ex was cute, but Pirates was sooo long. It was so late when we finished the movie, that by the time we had dinner at Del Taco at 3something am.. we were like omg ang sarap ng tacos!

We spent Saturday in Knott’s Berry Farm! Yehey! Omg, the rides were crazy! But I was sooo proud of myself coz I’ve always closed my eyes when I ride crazy rollercoasters, but now my eyes were open the whole time. Hahaha… babaw ko! But I couldn’t stop screaming, saying omg, cursing the whole time!




We played a bunch of games, but only Nico was succesful at them! I tried to balance on this ladder thing, but hindi kinaya ng powers ko! Ang hirap grabe! :(



Omg cute cute ng kiddoes namin noh? Nico won these for me :)


The last meal we ate was breakfast/lunch at 1pm, so by the time we ate dinner before midnight, omg gutom na gutom na talaga! We were sooo tired and sooo hungry, but it was a fun-filled day at Knotts! :)

Sunday was a relatively relaxing day. We spent the afternoon in LA in Citadel Outlets, then had Halo-halo in Pasadena at Nico’s former neighbor in Pinas, then we watched Superman Returns, and then we had yet another late dinner! Omg, we really should be eating on time!

So yun, I am omg so happy *haaay* Hindi naman obvious diba? :)

In other news, super sayang that nico & I weren't in Manila last friday! 'Coz Aja of Perceptions Inc. (The agency that handled the Shopper Of The Year Contest) called me and asked me and Nico to be among the judges of this years competition!! Sayang!!! Omg!! Hehe.. yun lang :)

After eating yummy Chinese dinner,


Nico gave me his pasalubongs! I was super duper happy.. I'm an instant noodles girl, so i totally loved the lucky me's & maggis, and my chocnut, pastillas, calamnsi juice, cornic, lengua.. yummy pinoy food that i love! Plus he gave me a pair of my favorite janylin espadrilles in green! Plus a few knick knacks that i adore.. happiness! :)


Plus my mom made padala my bilins.. bottles of nizoral, fissans, and packs of my favorite nesvita & instant soups in all flavors! yey! And the Dooney & Burke bag she bought from here, na pinadala niya ulit sakin! hihihi :) Thanks mom! :)


And my chix, thanks girls for the sandals & magic wallet! Touch ako kasi theyve been asking what i want from home, eh sabi ko super wala talaga.. but the night before nico's flight, i just said i wanted sandals & a magic wallet.. tapos galing nabili pa nila! Thanks girlies! Miss u all! :)

Last weekend was the best weekend I've had so far, and Im sure you all know why :) Aside from shopping & hanging out, we went to Universal Studios.


Of course, we saw a lot of characters..

Like Frankenstein,


and a hottie Van Helsing,


but of all the charcaters we've seen, Spidey made me laugh the most..


Obvious ba bakit? Hahaha.. bakat kasi siya! :O

Of course, we went to all the attractions & rides they have. I even participated in this special effects show.. Can you spot me in this pic? :)


After Universal Studios, we went to The Grove in Hollywood to have dinner wth my super good friend Sabbie, who just got married! Felt so good to see her! :)


Plus, I also saw Kat Dingcong, a good friend from Babble, who is engaged naman! Hehe.. She looks soooo pretty!! It was such a good surprise! :)


I can't wait till Nico gets back here so we can have more adventures! Just him, me, & the rav4.. and we're set to go! The boy is touring now.. the weekend wasn't enough babe! :)
