10 out of 31
Ended the night with some Indian Food. Guys, try Guru's Kitchen, it's within the compound of food stalls in front of CRC. Our friend Sam owns it! Try the Boneless Chicken Butter ba yun? Basta, yummy food! Try it!! Ü
* Saturday mid-morning was spent haggling with buyers. Nico & Esh had a rummage sale in LGV, and I just accompanied them throughout the day. Auds & Marts visited us so yey! Ü
Then we met up in Eastwood with sina Xaxot to watch "Shes The Man" again. Even if I had just seen it a couple of days before, Okay lang sakin 'coz I so love the movie! I've liked Amanda Bynes since her "All that" days, plus the guy who plays Duke is sooo hot, so it's a win-win situation Ü Dinner was at Heaven & Eggs, but it wasn't great 'coz we had a crappy waiter. So boo! Then we abused our newest videoke chip at home, so that was fun. Ended the night in Ponti to meet up with sila Esh & Lee.. Lee, pictures pls! Ü
* Went back to the Trade Fair in Megamall last Sunday with my mom & ate, and bought a couple more stuffs! Hahaha.. addict! Ü
* Went out with my good good friend Sabbie, whom I haven't seen for the longest time! She treated me to a despedida lunch at Sumo San in Shang, and the food is sooo yummy! Must try: Green Fried Chicken. Ü
I love her pasalubong from Canada! Aside from the lovely earrings, I loved the socks she gave me! Kitty cat is a nick I use in this forum where i sell my stuff.. so that was really cool Ü
Then Nico & I went to Galle, and I bought a couple more beach stuffs. Shopping makes us hungry, so off to Manggan we went. Must try: Corn Soup! Ü Ended the day by singing our hearts out with the videoke at home. I love the song "Kailan" by Smokey Mountain! Ü
* Spent half of Tuesday getting my hair dyed and packing my stuff with my mom. Crazy! Kakapagod too! But my reward came in the form of 2 gorgeous pumps from my mom. Classic Gucci & Ferragamo.. which I sooo adore Ü
* Wednesday was laid-back as Nico, Adrian (my nephew) and I spent the whole afternoon in my room, watching tv, using the net, eating pizza hut, & judging American Idol. I looove Katherine, Kelly, Chris & Ace. But almost all of them are really good (Except for Bucky & Kevin.. booo!!!), so I'm guessing it's really anybody's game to win. Who is your bet?
* Oooh.. Thursday was fun 'coz I went with my sister and her co-parents, plus my son and his classmates, to Play Underground in Rockwell. Ang cute nila tignan while wall-climbing! Ü

Instead of wall-climbing, I tired the trampauline this time, which was scary and fun at the same time! I've gotten the hang of it, so I was able to do back-tucks so yey! Ü Only the day after, my neck hurt like crazy! Hindi na sanay sa any form of activity.. haha
My butterball of a pamangkin in mid-air ;p
* Watched "Underclassman" with Nico on dvd. I kinda liked the movie, but maybe because Nick Cannon was in it, 'coz I think he is funny. Didn't stay too long 'coz he was sick, and I had a family dinner 'coz it was my kuya and ate's birthday at the same time. So Happy Birthday Kuya & Mama jo! Ü
* Hung out with Ercky & Marge at Ateneo yesterday. Love these two! Ü Then Marts & Esh cooked for us a despedida dinner, so thank you guys! Food was yummy! Ü And as always, videoke time na naman.
* El is back!!! Ü We surprised her at Lee's place today.. so yey!! Cannot wait to hang out with you this week El!!! Woohoo! Ü
21 more days to go..

Randomness
* My mom & I went to the Megatrade Hall in Megamall before lunch today, and I am just so happy 'coz my mom bought me lots of accessories!! Yahoo! She's really spoiling me since I'm leaving in like a month na. Here's a pic of the stuff I got, plus I'm coming back on sunday to pick up a couple of bags we ordered so yey! Go na to the Trade Fair there! P10 lang entrance fee! Support Filipino-made stuff! Just go through the stalls, you'll surely find something you'll like! Fair is 'till Sunday, so try and go there! I saw Jamie and her mom there kanina.. and its so funny 'coz the last time I saw them was in greenhills tiangge with my mom. Haha.. Like mother, like daughter, mahilig sa shopping Ü

* El is coming home soon so yey!! Advance happy birthday El!! Ü
* My good friend Sab is back from Canada, so yey!! See you monday dearie! I Miss you na! Ü
* Watched Date Movie with Nico last tuesday night. Eew! Do not watch it. Sayang pera niyo. As in. Although may funny scenes naman.. but still, don't watch it na lang.
* Watched Shes The Man the next day with Nico. Aaw.. watch it! Haha.. I like like liked it!! Nico already guessed that I wanted a dvd of it. Basta, its nice! It's like a romantic comedy for teens.. I loved it Ü And for the girls, lots of scenes with shirtless guys playing soccer.. ;p
* Had a picture taken with this kid from Going Bulilit.. I don't know his name, but I do know child star siya.. hehe.. He's cute! Approached him to have our picture taken with him, and grabe, sanay na sanay! ;p We watched the Last Holiday, which was France's Movie Premiere Project. Watch it, it's nice. Inspiring actually Ü
* Guys, go to Salcedo Village every Saturday, and try out the Italian stall there.. forgot the name, but the chef is a new friend of ours, Maj! Promise, her food is rally yummy!!! as in!!! Ü She's the girl wearing red in this pic.. haha Ü
* Can't believe I'm leaving in a month. When you actually ask me about it, you'd think I'm cool with everything. But oh my gosh, there are like butterflies in my stomach everytime I think about it. And I kinda get chills before I sleep, just thinking about leaving everything here and starting a new life there. Haaay.. almost all my stuffs are already packed, or atleast in balikbayan boxes already. My room is a total mess. Haaay..
* I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the right thing. With leaving and all that. I'm so attached to everything.. to Nico, to my family, to my friends, to my comfortable life.. But I do know that I owe it to myself to try this out. I do want this.. but wanting it doesn't make it easier to leave. I do have my reasons.. I do want to go, but I'm scared! Okay, so now I'm really scared. I'm gonna be dealing with a totally different culture. Different people, different places, different races. I also can't believe I won't be seeing Nico everyday.. like how I am used to for more than four years already. :( I think that this is the thing that makes me most sad.. the fact that the next time I would be seeing him again would not be for a couple of months pa. Oh my gosh.. I love you babe.. Kaya Jamie and Mike, we believe!!!!!!!
* I think I'm coping with my leaving by shopping. 'Coz even if my mom has been telling me to stop shopping, I just couldn't help myself! It's really one of our hobbies ni Nico, was supposed to be buying beach wear, but we ended up getting shirts, jeans, longsleeves.. etc. Actually, sabi ko na nga lang kay Nico, mag-enjoy na lang tayo, and magshopping na lang tayo ng magshopping! Ü
* 31 days to go *gulp*
* This was my horoscope a few weeks ago.. I kept a copy of the newspaper, just so I could keep on looking at this. What do you think? Hope this is true..
In about two years, you will enter a time of harvest, when the seeds you have planted will finally ripen. This year is a time of preparation for you.
A time of preparation huh? Couldn't have said it better.

Must Read
But when I came across this forwarded email, I couldn't help but think to myself na, "grabe, ang galing!" I wanted to applaud him! It was like reading some of my own thoughts! He also raised a whole lot of other points that would really make you hate all those who are doing their best to destroy what Filipinos are trying to build. As Nico put it, sakto talaga mga sinabi niya.
Ako sa totoo lang, sawang sawa na ako sa mga nag-rarally. I mean, you aren't really doing anything good for our country. Isn't it already obvious that people are already apathetic to your cries of "injustice"? You are just seen as a nuisance.. creating traffic, causing the peso to depreciate, etc. etc. Can't you see that you are just being used by those who want to sit in Malacanang? I'm sorry I failed to remember the name of the columnist from Inquirer whom I saw being interviewed in ANC, but what he said really struck me. Ang mga rally, they would never really work. Because what they are doing is just reacting! They are not even proposing an action or an idea, what they just want is for GMA to resign. Eh ano pagkatapos? Sino uupo, si Erap? WTF! Sabihin ba naman na he wants to be President again. Ang kapal!
I'm posting this letter because I think its important for people to read this, people who are not necessarily pro-gma, but those who want the best for our country.
For the record, I voted for GMA. ;p
The following letter was written by Melvin Mangada of TBWA/SantiagoMangada Puno and Associates, One of the Philippines' top creativeminds, heading one of the nation's top Advertising Agencies.

Open Letter to Our Leaders
Dear Tita Cory, Senators, Congressmen, Businessmen, Media people, Leftists, and all Bleeding Hearts Out There:
I am angry. And I know that there are many out there who are angrier than I am for the same reason. And that reason is simple. I am sick and tired of all you guys claiming to speak for me and many Filipinos. I feel like screaming every time you mouth words about fighting for my freedom and my rights, when you obviously are just thinking about yours. You tell me that the essence of democracy is providing every citizen the right to speak his or her mind and make his or her own informed judgments, but you yourselves do not respect my silence and the choices I and many others have made. In other words, your concept of democracy is limited to having your rights and your freedoms respected, at the expense of ours.
I am utterly flabbergasted that you still do not get it: we already responded to your calls, and our response has been very clear - we chose not to heed your calls to go to EDSA or to Fort Bonifacio not because we do not love our country or our freedoms or our rights, but precisely because we love our country even more. Because quite frankly, we are prepared to lose our freedoms and our rights just to move this country forward. You may think that is not correct, you can tell me all the dire warnings about the evils of authoritarian rule, but quite frankly all we see is your pathetic efforts to prop up your cause. You tell me that you are simply protecting my freedoms and my rights, but who told you to do that? I assure you that when I feel that my rights and my freedoms are at a peril, I will stand up and fight for them myself.
You tell us that GMA is not the right person to lead this country because she has done immoral acts. As someone who sees immorality being committed wantonly in many ways every day and by everyone (yes, including the ones youdo), I may have become jaded. But you have not been able to offer me any viable alternative, while GMA has bent over backwards many times to accommodate you while continuing to work hard despite all the obstacles and the brickbats you have thrown her way. From where I sit, she is the one who has been working really hard to move this country forward while all of you have been so busy with one and only one thing: to make sure she does not succeed. So forgive me if I do not want to join you in your moral pissing contest. Forgive me if I have chosen to see things from another perspective. You say she is the problem. I say, we are the problem, more to the point, I think you are a bigger problem than she is. Taking her out may solve part ofthe problem, but that leaves us with a bigger problem: you. That is right, YOU!
While I felt outraged that she called a Comelec official during theelections and that she may have rigged the elections, I have since then taken the higher moral ground and forgiven her. Yes my dear bishops, I have done what you have told me to do since I was a child, which you say is the Christian and moral thing to do: forgive. Especially since she has asked for forgiveness and has tried to make amends for it. Erap certainly has not apologized and continues to be defiant, continuing to insult us everydaywith his protestations. Cory has not apologized for her incompetence but we have forgiven her just the same because like GMA, she has worked hard after all.
I know you do not think that GMA's apology was not enough, or that she was insincere, or that that apology should not be the end of it, but please spare me the hypocrisy of telling me that you do so for the sake of protecting the moral fiber of society. The real reason is because you smell blood and wants to go for the kill.
Well, I have news for you. I do not like her too. I did not even vote for her. I voted for Raul Roco. But as much as I do not like her, I do not like you even more. I may not trust her, but guess what; I do not trust you even more.
You know why? Because all you do is whine and sabotage this country. You belittle every little progress we make; conveniently forgetting that it is not just GMA who has been working so hard to achieve them. Every single day,we keep the faith burning in our hearts that this country will finally pull itself out of the mess and we work so hard to do that. Every little progress is the result of our collective effort, we who toil hard everyday in our jobs. Yet, you persist in one and only thing: making GMA look bad in the eyes of the world and making sure that this country continues to suffer to prove your sorry point. In the process, you continue to destroy what we painstakingly try to build. So please do not be surprised that I do not share your cause. Do not be surprised that we have become contemptuous of your antics. You have moved heaven and earth to destroy her credibility, you have convened all kinds of fora and hearings and all you have done is test our patience to the core. For all your effort, you have only succeeded in dragging us further down. I say enough.
Don't get me wrong. I am not asking that we take immorality lying down, or that we let the President get away with anything illegal. But you have tried to prove your accusations all these time and you have not succeeded, so it is time to let things be. Besides, you are doing something immoral as well if not utterly unforgivable. The Magdalo soldiers are consorting with the communists - the same people who have been trying to kill democracy for years. Cory has been consorting with Erap and the Marcoses.
So please wake up and take a reality check. In the absence of true and genuine moral leadership, many of us have decided to cast our lot with thePresident, even if we do not like her. A flawed leader is better than scheming power hungry fools who can not even stand up for their convictionsin the face of an impending arrest.
Your coup attempts and the denials that you have consequently made only underscore what we think is true: you are spineless and unreliable people whose only defense is to cry suppression when your ruse do not work. You are like bullies who taunt and provoke, but cry oppression when taken to task for your cruelty.
I would have respected you if you took the consequences of your actions like real heroes: calmly and responsibly instead of kicking and screaming and making lame excuses. You say you are willing to die for us, that you do all these things for the country and the Filipino, but you are not even willing to go to jail for us.
Come on, you really think we believe that you did not want to bring down the government when that is the one and only thing you have been trying to do in the last many months?
We love this country and we want peace and progress. Many among us do not give a f*&k who sits at Malacanang because we will work hard and do ourshare to make things work. If you only do your jobs, the ones that we elected you to do, things would be a lot simpler and easier for every one.
The events during the weekend only proved one thing. You are more dangerousand a serious threat to this country than GMA is. We have seen what you are capable of doing - you are ready to burn this country and reduce everythingto ashes just to prove your point. If there is something that we need protection from, it is protection from you.
