Trick & Treat
But I call Foul! 'Coz I didn't even get to choose between "Trick or Treat"!!
It was supposed to be an evening of booze & conversation at the Oktoberfest at Dusit. I was so excited 'coz I'll be seeing for the first time my 2 engaged friends, Diorelle & Ton. But we didn't make it to the hotel.. because while we were driving down Ayala Ave. (Nico = driver, Me = passenger seat, Esh = back seat), a car hit us! Hard!!!!
Siyempre if you got hit, diba you'll pullover? But no!! The driver of the other car was making takas pa!! So what Nico did was ginitgit niya yung other car. But tuloy pa rin yung car. It wasn't until the other car hit the bumper of Nico's gsr that he finally stopped. Enraged, I opened my window & knocked on his'.. w/ matching full on shouting! Bitch mode talaga. Actually, he is lucky 'coz Nico was pretty nice to him. Malas lang niya sakin.. Ksi hello?!?! Tatakas pa eh! Nainis tlga ako! Grrr..
A few phone calls later to my worried parents, dumating na yung mga sarge, plus the mmda they were able to contact. Add our friends who came to meet us there, it was a battle of 17 persons to 1 guy. Well, dumating naman in a while yung brother niya & 2 more friends.. so hindi na siya magisa. Haha..
He was pretty lucky, 'coz Nico was pretty nice to him. Imagine, he had no license, his car wasn't registered yet, he hit Nico's car, plus tumatakas pa siya! They arranged a deal na lang para hindi makulong yung guy. 'Coz if you don't have a license, kulong ka agad. So, it's a lesson for him.
At first, super init ulo ko. But when our friends came, we just made light of the situation by taking lots of pictures! Haha.. Even if we didn't make it to the Oktoberfest, we still had fun that night. Plus I saw Rem (the photographer from inquirer that we were w/ in the HK Shopper Of The Year Contest) & his gf mon (Hehe.. I ain't sure, but mukhang sila.. haha.. sorry Rem! Tsismis ba toh? ;p ). Who would have thought dun pa kami ulit magkikita diba? Ü Awa lang ako kay Nico 'coz major asikaso na naman yun sa car niya.
Mga rest back.. Hahaha ;p And daming usi dun! Haha.. like this guy na naka folded longsleeves

So that was the trick part, a few days before Halloween! ;p
The treats part was exactly on Halloween day! We celebrated it in our house in Bataan w/ a scary costume party! I hosted the party, & it was lots of fun watching my cousins & pamangkins play in the games. Plus, I was able to get lots candies, so ang saya! Haha Ü

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow
First of all, I want to thank you all for the joy that you have given me. Everytime I open the closet where all of you sleep, happiness fills my heart. You don't know how each of you is deeply appreciated by me. Although there are times wherein a few of you are ignored, please do not think that I love you any less. It's just that, I feel that you are much too special just to be used for running errands. Which is why I tend to overuse you, White Janylin Abacca Wedge, because you are always reliable & you look great w/ all of my clothes. I am sorry if you don't get enough rest.
Second, I want to say sorry if you have been missing a lot of your sisters. You have to understand, I am moving away soon, and sadly, I cannot bring all of you. It hurt me to let go of your sisters Hot Pink Dollhouse Stilletos, Bebe White Stilletos, and a whole lot of others. It was a hard decision for me to let them go, but I am not used to wearing 4-inch heels anymore, so they were the ones who had to go first. And I know you know that I am not the sporty type, which was why I had to let go of your pairs of Nike sisters. *Sigh* But do not worry, I am sure that their new owners are taking good care of them. After all, I'm sure that the diva in them would demand the utmost car & attention.
Third, I know that you have a good idea of what my sister, mom & I were doing a while ago. Although we spoke in soft voices, I'm sure that you can feel it in your soles that we were dividing you into categories already. Oh my.. I can't tell you how much it hurt me to decide whether one fo you will go to the KEEP category, SELL category or UNDECIDED category. I am truly sorry if I made any of you feel unwanted. I want all 91 of you to know, that if i could, I would bring all of you w/ me. But you and I both know that I cannot do that. I cannot keep all of you. Which is why I have to let some of you go. *sigh*
But I promise to the pairs that I would sell, that I will choose your would-be owners carefully. I would not send you to just any person. I'll make sure that your new owners would love & appreciate you just as much as I did. Come November 12, lots of different people would be vying for your attention. I'm sure you'll be able to give me a sign if you want to go home w/ them or not.
I love you all, & I hope that we will bump into each other in the future. Rest assured that all of you will always be in my thoughts.
